Team Illustrations

I wanted to brush up on my illustration skills and create a simple cartoon version of everyone in our office for fun.

In terms of process, I did some initial sketches with paper and pencil to develop an initial style for the illustrations. Then I moved to Adobe Illustrator to start drawing out everyone’s wonderful face. I used the headshots from our company’s “About” page as a reference—Dave was the only one who looks a little different, now that he has longer hair, so I made sure to add in his long flowing locks. After I was done with the initial draft, I went back in to refine and clean up my lines. And lastly, I added in some color to bring a little more life to the illustrations. I also created a simple gif for fun to show Ryan thinking about his favorite food, Frank’s Red Hot.
